Fr. Charlie Coen Annual Tribute Concert
One of Fr. Charlie Coen’s biggest achievements was the creation a “multi-cultural” Irish song group at the height of the Civil Rights movement, which was seen as very daring for the time. Women in his parish got together and knitted 60 Irish sweaters for this singing group to wear during concerts. Select members from the group competed in and won top prize at the Eastern Seaboard Fleadh Cheoil in 1976.

Evening concerts will feature instructors and special guests. The Fr. Charlie Coen Annual Tribute Concert will take place at 7:00PM on Sunday, October 12th.
