Class Description : We will be exploring the fundamentals of painting: Composition, Elements of Color,
Drawing, light & form, Paint and pigment.
Painting Supplies:
Odorless Turpentine,& Odorless mineral spirits, paper towels
Artist Quality Oil Paints: any brand, I use Utrecht Oils, Winsor Newton, Rembrandt
Titanium White or Zinc White
Lemon Yell
Cad Yell Pure
Transparent oxide yell( Rembrandt)
Alizarin Crimson
Permanent Ultramarine blue
Phalo Green
Ivory Black
Extra colors that you Love and can’t live without ( I have a few)
Utrecht brushes:
Flat or filbert brushes, Sizes:4, 8, 10, and a 1 inch cheap brush
Pallet Knife
Canvas or Board:
Size: 8×10, 11×14, 12×16, enough for the week
