Join us every afternoon for The Lunchtime Chat…, the mid-day series in which we’ll take a little time to explore different subjects and ideas that reflect Irish music and its history in interesting and different ways. Audio and video samples will complement friendly discussion and we’ll have musicians in most days to talk about the subject du jour.
Monday – Screen Themes: traditional music on film and TV
Tuesday – Researching Irish Music: Irish music archives and the gems they contain
Wednesday – “If You Ever Go To Ireland”: Shaun O’Nolan and the McNulty Family (Daniel Neely and Mick Moloney)
Thursday – “Beyond the Ninth Wave”: Ireland, America & how the Irish have perceived America through the ages
