Jayne Pomplas grew up playing music.  She started taking classical violin lessons when she was three years old, but quickly started learning Irish music off of records her parents had around the house.  She studied the fiddle from Brian Conway and Tony DeMarco, and has been greatly influenced by the New York fiddle playing tradition.  Jayne recorded a highly acclaimed solo album with Alan Murray on guitar and bouzouki which was released in February 2015.  Notable guests on the album include Tony DeMarco, Cillian Vallely, Isaac Alderson, Anna Colliton and Bram Pomplas.
