BIOGRAPHY

My name is Sarah McLoughlin better known as Sally. Born and raised in County Cavan schooled in Ireland and London for general nursing and midwifery.

My mother taught us to knit during the war years, even my brothers could knit. It was our major form of entertainment. I earned 10 schillings from my first paid project, a sweater for a close neighbor. There were no radios or TV at the time, but we did love music, dance, and knitting.
